In 2020, artist Sujata Tibrewala promoted minority representation through a life-size mural in a school in Milpitas, California, so that children of the school would have role models to look up to from their respective minority communities.

Tibrewala painted  Deb Haaland in 'Bloody Immigrant.' which showed Deb Haaland, the first-ever Native American politician and cabinet secretary, "the only person in Cabinet who can call anyone Immigrant in America". She shows her kneeling over Trump, reminding us of George Floyd, to celebrate Trump's defeat in 2020

Tibrewala showcased 'Curvy Yoga' at the Tahoe Art League to challenge stereotyped Indian artists, “I showed Indian princesses in ethnic wear practicing yoga. I also showed curvy women confident in their plus-size bodies performing asanas,” she says.
